We, Salesian Sisters AES, are committed to evangelization and education in the faith of young people especially the poor, and the proclamation of the gospel to those who do not know Jesus Christ. We have openness to different social and cultural realities of the countries and the world, to situations of poverty, to the reality of many young people who are like “sheep without a shepherd” (Mt 9, 36).
With the sense of compassion and solidarity that Jesus showed us, we work among the poor in rural or urban areas, among young people at risk, among women who have no voice to protect their human right, among migrants, and internally displaced people.
We’ve been improving the quality of life in Ethiopia, Sudan, South Sudan.
Our schools, clinics provide health and education resources where care is scarce. We engage our local counterparts through the meaningful transfer of knowledge and work together to invest in people and resources to improve the communities we serve. Thanks to donors like you, we’re building HOPE — health, opportunity, progress, and education — where none existed before.
