On Thursday the 19th April, the children of the Pre-School in Bole went for an outing and a pic-nick. The place chosen was BORA where there a kind of Luna Park for children. It was a very enjoyable experience. All the children, even those who could not afford to pay the entrance participated in the outing. Benjamin, a child of the LKG said with his eyes full of tears: “My mother has no money for the pic-nick”. We calmed him down and reassured him that he would have gone all the same. Every day before the outing he repeated the same litany! The day before going to the park we gave him 100 birr telling him that his mother brought it. We sent him to the office to pay for the registration and he received the receipt (not a real one because it cannot be registered!) You should have seen the joy of the child!!!!! He run towards us saying “Now I am sure I can go to Bora!!!”. The gratitude of Benjamin’s mother was endless!!!
We can organize experiences like this one because of the help we receive from the benefactors to whom we repeat our “Thank you”. It because of your support that all the children of our school had the joy of spending a wonderful day!!
