After a long-time of Pandemic break, Wau community has restarted having Laura's group meetings.
On the 19th of September, the first meeting was held in St. Joseph school. The girls from our two schools, St. Joseph and Auxilium, were present in the meeting and some girls from other schools came for the formation. 63 of them are in grades 7 and 8. Some of them are in secondary schools. Two of them were from Wau university.
The sisters prepared the program about God's commandments. The program consisted of some discussions and workshops. In the workshops, the girls tried to find out how Laura lived God's commandments and to live their lives accordingly. They learned how to live to be faithful in God's law through the life of the blessed Laura. The highlight of the meeting was the correction of anyone commandment which girls wrote and offered during our Holy Mass.
Holy Mass was celebrated by Fr. Taban Charles SD. The father invited the girls to not be afraid to be faithful to Jesus because He is really the best friend who can help us to change our lives. Then, we offered a small lunch and at the end of the meeting, we had a "last dance time" which we enjoyed very much. All the girls promised to come next month.
